Who are we?
Arthur Online is an exciting tech start-up, started from scratch and launched in 2015 with the aim of being the first truly end-to-end property management solution. We focus on what we do best: property management software and integrate with best-in-class cloud-based software to handle the other parts of managing a portfolio including Zoopla, Right Move, Xero and QuickBooks, making the lives of our customers as simple as possible.
What will you be doing?
You will be an integral part of the business working over several departments to facilitate the smooth running of the company alongside the Office & HR Manager, you duties will include but are not limited to:
Creating induction plans and carrying out inductions for new members of staff
Updating staff records, ensuring that all records are digitally stored and compliant with GDPR
Putting together training sessions for new members of staff
Recruitment including CV screening, setting up interviews and gathering feedback
Conducting performance reviews (alongside the Office & HR Manager)
Meeting and greeting visitors, booking and setting up the meeting room.
Ad hoc duties for the Directors and other team members,
Answering the phones and directing calls to various members of the team
Help organise staff events and cakes for staff birthdays
Setting up laptops for new employees
Ordering supplies for the office, making sure that the office and kitchen is kept tidy
Business Process Co-ordination
Take ownership of all our business policies and process documents.
Create and update our internal process documents and ensure that staff follow the correct procedures & ensure that they are GDPR compliant
Liaise with the DPO and create regular data protection reports for the board meeting
Events & Training Days
Research potential exhibitions and negotiate rates for stands at various national & international exhibitions.
Liaise with the marketing team to ensure all marketing materials (graphics, adverts etc) are submitted to the organisers on time
Ensure that the correct display materials are sent to the venue prior to the event
Take ownership of the Arthur London and National training days and streamline the process.
Research venues for national training days and negotiate competitive rates
Keep records of all attendees and payments
Liaise with the venues to update them on the number of delegates attending.
